Careers at
Autona Robotics.
We’re hiring across robot learning, simulation, hardware, cloud, and deployment.
Explore the roles below. Email your CV or profile, links to your work, and a short description of what you want to build.
01Robotics Learning EngineerModels Toronto, SF, or New York
What you’ll work on
Train and fine-tune vision-language-action policies for manipulation. Build data mixtures, run ablations, and measure transfer from simulation to the robot.
What you’ll bring
Hands-on experience with PyTorch, imitation learning or reinforcement learning, and reproducible model evaluation. Share a model, experiment, or robot project you have built.
02Simulation & Reinforcement Learning EngineerSimulation Toronto, SF, or New York
What you’ll work on
Build task environments with robot models, contacts, sensors, rewards, and resets. Develop curricula and evaluate policies across varied layouts and recovery cases.
What you’ll bring
Experience with physics simulation, robot kinematics, and RL tooling. You should be comfortable debugging a failed grasp, unstable contact, or misleading reward.
03Robotics Controls EngineerRobot systems Toronto, SF, or New York
What you’ll work on
Connect policies to reliable robot motion. Develop controller interfaces, trajectory generation, calibration, and manipulation behaviors for arms and mobile systems.
What you’ll bring
Strong kinematics and dynamics fundamentals, Python or C++, and experience testing control software on physical robots.
04Hardware & Integration EngineerHardware Toronto, SF, or New York
What you’ll work on
Integrate robots, grippers, cameras, fixtures, and compute. Design adapters and test setups, maintain calibration, and turn task requirements into working hardware.
What you’ll bring
Experience with electromechanical integration, CAD, sensors, and hands-on debugging. Share something you designed, assembled, or brought into operation.
05Cloud Platform EngineerRobot cloud Toronto, SF, or New York
What you’ll work on
Build infrastructure for robot data, GPU training jobs, model serving, and telemetry. Own deployment tooling, observability, and reliable services across cloud and robot-side compute.
What you’ll bring
Experience operating backend systems, containers, job queues, and storage. Familiarity with GPU workloads or low-latency inference is useful.
06Full-Stack Product EngineerARC product Toronto, SF, or New York
What you’ll work on
Build ARC interfaces and APIs for datasets, environments, evaluations, and robot operations. Make runs easy to inspect and connect each result to its source data and model version.
What you’ll bring
Experience shipping TypeScript web applications and backend APIs. Share a product or tool where you owned both the user workflow and its implementation.
07Forward-Deployed Robotics EngineerDeployments Toronto, SF, or New York
What you’ll work on
Scope customer tasks, collect demonstrations, integrate hardware and policies, and run on-site pilots. Diagnose failures and turn field feedback into concrete engineering changes.
What you’ll bring
Experience bringing robot systems into real workflows, practical debugging skills, and clear technical communication with operators and customers.
08Robotics Data & Evaluation EngineerData and evaluation Toronto, SF, or New York
What you’ll work on
Build synchronized data pipelines and task benchmarks. Track dataset quality, model regressions, success criteria, interventions, and failure modes across simulated and physical runs.
What you’ll bring
Experience with Python, data pipelines, experiment design, and quantitative evaluation. Robotics or multimodal data experience is useful.
